Dear Church Family,

I was refreshed this morning as the cool air hit my face. There are many times when the fall can be a refreshing time for us spiritually! Pam and I are thankful to have served alongside of you for over 4 years! Time flies when you’re having fun! I hope that you will be refreshed this year and you will help others to look to Jesus for that spiritual refreshment!
The theme for the coming school year will be Deep, Wide and Faithful. We will be challenged to grow Deep Roots of faith. Secondly, we will be challenged to have a Wide Reach with the gospel. Lastly, we will be challenged to a Faithful Walk in the Spirit.
The FBC leadership team wants you to know that we are searching to replace Isabela Hanisch, who was our Children’s Director for three years. She did a great job restarting our children’s ministry. Now we have children and a team of volunteers teaching and serving our children. She did such a great job and was a great example of faithfully following Jesus! We want to expand the ministry to young people in our church. We will be looking for someone to come in to lead over both children and youth (6^th-12^th grades). Currently, I am working with Mason Walker, who is our Ministry Intern, to restart the youth group. We had 2 summer camps in August to help us connect with youth again. It has worked so far, as we had 13 youth at our School Year youth group kickoff. Please pray for us to find the right person to lead these extremely important ministries! Pray for both the children’s and youth ministries as we reach out to the families that we connected with over the past two summers.
I am praying for you all to keep following Jesus wherever He leads you and for you to be light in this world! Trust the Lord with everything!
