Dear Church Family,

We have some exciting news for our congregation!
There are one and maybe two people who will be coming to help with our children and youth (teens). One is a potential part-time Children’s Director and one is an intern.
First of all, on Sunday, June 25, a candidate for our Children's director position will be here to experience a worship service with us.  She has five years of experience in Children’s ministry.  She has a BA in Biblical Studies from Southwest Baptist University and a Master of Theological Studies from Midwestern Theological Seminary.  She is married and has four children.  Our Children’s Director Search Committee and Governing Board will consider extending a call to serve as our children’s director.
   Secondly, we have our first intern in a long time to help us with our youth ministry.  Ethan Neufeld is a student at Millikin University studying music.  He has a lot of experience serving in youth and worship ministries.  He sings, plays guitar and some piano.  He will help a little this summer but will be here at FBC regularly after he is done working at Little Galilee Camp.
We are gearing up for our VBS week June 19-23.
There’s an opportunity for you to help us during that week as we lead and reach out to children.  Please invite some families to bring their children to “Stellar” VBS.
Passionate Prayer Group - Please join us on Tuesday, June 13^th at 5:30 p.m. There’s much to pray about as we serve the Lord and as we go and make disciples.
